Available Medical Plans: This year, we will offer three medical plans: Choice Plus HSA, Choice 3000, and Choice Plus 1500.
- Our Medical plan choices are available, including an option with a Health Savings Account (HSA). The HSA plan has lower deductibles now, and a per-person deductible for families. HSA contributions will continue to be made by Sonny’s as well as your own contributions and they can be used at any time and roll over from year to year. HSA funds can also be invested.
- HSA Account: You will be automatically enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA) if you choose the Choice Plus HSA. Sonny’s will contribute seed money to your HSA account regardless of your contributions.
- Sonny’s Seed Money for HSA: $500 for Employee Only coverage, $1000 for Employee with dependent/spouse coverage.
- Sonny’s will front load 50% of the seed money into your HSA by October 1, 2025.
- The plan designs for Choice 3000 and Choice Plus 1500 will remain unchanged.
