Dental Benefits
Your opportunity to enroll/update your benefits starts on August 18th and will end on August 29th.
Any changes or enrollment you elect during this period will take effect October 1, 2025. Once enrolled you will not be able to make changes until next year unless you experience a qualifying life event. Please carefully review your network access for the Dental HMO prior to electing this plan, as you must remain in-network to receive coverage.
Highlights:

- We will continue to offer a Dental PPO and a Dental HMO (Exclusive Network Plan)
- There is an increase for the cost of the Dental PPO plan; the Dental HMO remains the same cost
- ID card will be available by accessing MyUHC.com or contracting UHC directly to request a hard copy
Dental HMO - Exclusive Network Plan Benefits
The DHMO provides a wide variety of benefits through participating providers. To search for a provider, go to MyUHC.com or call Member Services Department at 800-955-4137. At the time of service, you pay the dentist for any applicable copayments according to your schedule of benefits. No claims to file. No Maximums. Most common copayments listed below:

Dental PPO Benefits
The Dental PPO allows you the freedom to visit any dentist for all of your dental care. If you receive care from one of United Healthcare’s preferred dentists, you will pay less for your care. If you choose a non-preferred dentist, your share of costs will generally be higher, and you may need to file your own claims.
