Dental Benefits
Your opportunity to enroll/update your benefits starts on August 19th and will end on August 30th.
This year, it is mandatory to take action. You must enroll or decline benefits during Annual Enrollment. If no action is taken you will lose any current benefits you have elected.
Any changes or enrollment you elect during this period will take effect October 1, 2024. Once enrolled you will not be able to make changes until next year unless you experience a qualifying life event.

- We will continue to offer a Dental PPO and a Dental HMO (Exclusive Network Plan)
- Slight reduction on your bi-weekly premium
- ID card will be available by accessing MyUHC.com or contracting UHC directly to request a hard copy
Dental HMO - Exclusive Network Plan Benefits
The DHMO provides a wide variety of benefits through participating providers. To search for a provider, go to MyUHC.com or call Member Services Department at 800-955-4137. At the time of service, you pay the dentist for any applicable copayments according to your schedule of benefits. No claims to file. No Maximums. Most common copayments listed below:

Dental PPO Benefits
The Dental PPO allows you the freedom to visit any dentist for all of your dental care. If you receive care from one of United Healthcare’s preferred dentists, you will pay less for your care. If you choose a non-preferred dentist, your share of costs will generally be higher, and you may need to file your own claims.
